The School Board has kindly provided the use of a school gymnasium for training during the winter months, when outdoor activities are challenging. This collaboration extends to the innovative "Four Legged Fridays" initiative, where many of our dogs in training will regularly attend classes at local High Schools. Additionally, students at these schools have expressed a keen interest in undertaking significant fundraising activities to support our program, reflecting a community-wide engagement in our mission.

In 2014, K4PSD received The International Day of Persons with Disabilities Access Award for our significant role in improving accessibility for disabled persons in Kingston, surpassing legislative standards.

The City kindly provided the Grand Theatre for our Jim Croce Tribute concert and invited us to join events like Cycle Sunday, Snow Much Fun, a New Year's Eve Party at City Hall, and the Para Pan Am Games Torch Relay. These events boosted awareness and became key fundraisers for our cause.

CKWS Television, under Chorus Entertainment Inc., and its affiliated radio stations have been outstanding in promoting K4PSD since our inception. The extent of public awareness and recognition they have provided is immeasurable. Their efforts have significantly enhanced our visibility in the community. Additionally, our staff have become regular guests on Bill Welychka’s show, 'The 'WS Daily', airing at 5:00 PM on weekdays, offering us a valuable platform to share our mission and updates. We deeply appreciate their continued support and promotion.
