The Community Foundation embodies the vision of fostering "A vibrant creative community where everyone has the opportunity to participate in building a caring, healthy, and culturally rich community." Since our inception, the Foundation has been a crucial contributor to our cause. Through various grants and initiatives, they have significantly aided in the training of our Service Dogs and the expansion of activities that support our mission, playing an integral role in our community's enrichment and the advancement of our objectives.

In 2014, K4PSD received The International Day of Persons with Disabilities Access Award for our significant role in improving accessibility for disabled persons in Kingston, surpassing legislative standards.

The City kindly provided the Grand Theatre for our Jim Croce Tribute concert and invited us to join events like Cycle Sunday, Snow Much Fun, a New Year's Eve Party at City Hall, and the Para Pan Am Games Torch Relay. These events boosted awareness and became key fundraisers for our cause.
